In recent years I've been working on two main projects in painting. The first is 'History Painting Revival' where I've tried to depict a decade in the history of western society and then two 'projections' of it, or its implications, into the present or past and the future. In each 'Trinity' of pictures, one was a large format (big history pinting, 170 x 140 cm) while the other two were smaller (mostly about 45 x 55 cm). On the right, a selection of these smaller pictures, from top to bottom: 1860 itself, 1914 future, 1914 past, autobahn, 1860 present.
The second had the working name 'constantly developing picture picture', but is now called 'Timewall Format Painting' which is further work on the Block

to see some of these pictures combined with pictures by other artists. These I now call 'Timewall Pictures' because every individual is free to make his/her own choices about which combination to hang how, when and where.
